THE FOLLOWING IS A REMINDER OF THE MISSION OF THIS NEW OUTREACH KNOWN AS  CFRBC CONNECTIONS AND WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM A HOST/HOSTESS

 

CFRBC FELLOWSHIP MEALS ~ CFRBC Connections

 

We live in such a busy and unconnected world. Many of us do not even know our neighbors. And many in our church family do not know one another. We desire to provide a forum for us to get to know one another, through “CFRBC Connections”.

 

These are groups of 5-12 people who will meet in homes for a meal and a time of fellowship. These are not intended to create extra busyness or to add to every ones calendar, instead it is the hearts desire to provide a time for us to get to know folks in the church whom we might not other wise have contact with.

 

The “HOST/HOSTESS” will provide a home, a meal and take the lead to interact with all in attendance. This can be facilitated with the use of “games and table talk cards” of which can be provided. You may provide the whole meal, or you may ask your guests to provide apportion of the meal (we suggest the host home provides the main course). After you receive your list of guests, you are asked to contact and personally invite your guests. You may have your dinner on either a Friday or Saturday (the first two weeks) of the month. You may do a dinner or a lunch. You may open this to the entire family; however our goal is to reach adults.

 

We will hold these “CFRBC Connections” at least once a month. Since our goal is to meet new folks we ask that you not meet with the same group of folks next time, or at the same host/hostess home.

 

It is hoped that you will want to hostess again, the next month that we do this.
